LSSTF Donates Bulletproof Vests, Helmets to NSCDC, Nigerian Immigration Service Lagos Commands

In a bid to support security agencies with critical operational tools needed to combat emerging security challenges and sustain peace across Lagos, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) under the Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan has donated bulletproof vests and ballistic helmets to the Lagos State Commands of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), further reinforcing its commitment to sustaining safety and stability across the state.

The LSSTF Boss, Dr. Ogunsan formally presented the protective gear to the Comptroller of NIS Lagos Command, Mr. Christopher Olu Onajinrin and the Commandant of NSCDC Lagos State Command, Commandant Adedotun Keshinro, even as he reiterated the Fund’s continuous support for security institutions operating in Lagos. The NSCDC Lagos State Command received 30 units of bulletproof vests and helmets, while the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service received 20 units each of bulletproof vests and helmets.

Expressing their gratitude, the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Keshinro and Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), Comptroller Olu Onajinrin Lagos commended the LSSTF for the kits which offer a significant boost to personnel safety and operational effectiveness.

Commandant Keshinro described the donation as unprecedented; he seized the opportunity to appreciate the management of LSSTF led by the ES/CEO, Dr. Ogunsan for the unprecedented gesture bestowed on the Civil defence during his visit to the funding agency’s headquarters at Alausa Secretariat Ikeja.
