IGP Egbetokun, Rwandan Counterpart Tour Proforce Facility, Seek Stronger Security Ties 

The Inspector-General of Police of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, and the Inspector-General of the Rwandan National Police, CG Felix Namuhoranye recently visited and toured the Proforce Limited’s facility in Ogun state, a major indigenous manufacturer of armored personnel carriers and other security equipment led by the Group Managing Director/CEO, Engr. Adetokunbo Ogundeyin, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), gathered that during the tour, IGP Egbetokun commended Proforce for putting Nigeria on the global map as a leading supplier of advanced security solutions. He highlighted the company’s role in improving national security, noting that its contributions would help curb crime and boost Nigeria’s economy through exports.

“Proforce is not only enhancing our security but also increasing foreign exchange earnings by supplying armored vehicles to countries like Rwanda, South Sudan, and others,” Egbetokun stated.

The visit highlighted the growing security collaboration between Nigeria and Rwanda, with both police chiefs emphasizing the importance of technological advancements in modern policing. The Rwandan IGP, CG Namuhoranye expressed admiration for Proforce’s capabilities and reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening security partnerships with Nigeria.

This high-profile visit signals a significant step towards deeper security cooperation between both nations, leveraging local expertise to tackle crime and promote regional stability.
