PHOTO NEWS : DEFENCE MINISTER, MOHAMMED BADARU LOUD PRESIDENT TINUBU AT 60TH BIRTHDAY OF GENERAL LEO IRABOR

The Honourable Minister of Defence, H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, represented the Special Guest of Honour, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the unveiling of a book and the 60th birthday celebration of the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff, General Leo Irabor (Rtd). The event took place at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, on Friday, 3rd October 2025.

The occasion featured the formal presentation of Irabor’s new book, “SCARS: Nigeria’s Journey and the Boko Haram Conundrum”, and was attended by distinguished personalities, including former President H.E. Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR (Chairman of the Occasion), former President H.E. Goodluck Jonathan, the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, the Chief of Defence Staff, General C.G. Musa, Service Chiefs, as well as other serving and retired senior military officers.
