The Maryland axis of the popular Ikorodu road Lagos, Nigeria’s  commercial capital, has been rocked by an accident.

It was gathered  that the accident, which involved a white NISSAN mass transit bus and a fully loaded truck, few hours ago, has worsened the vehicular movement on the road.

The cause of the accident, which happened few meters from Shoprite as well as the casualty figure are yet unknown as at press time.

“The bus fell flat on its side while on Collision with the truck. As we speak, officials of LASEMA have arrived the scene for rescue operations. We equally hope the two vehicles would be evacuated from the road to ease trandic gridlock that the accident has caused,” resident of Obanikoro, Seun Dada, who was at the scene, said.
