Dr. Jeffrey Kuraun, All Progressive Congress Governorship Candidate, Benue state says commerce is an essential component of national development and wealth creation.

In a statement obtained by Gatmash News, Dr. Kuraun states that, “Commerce is an essential component of national development and wealth creation. Commerce generates various employment opportunities in different areas such as transport and logistics, banking, and retail. We must promote trade (internal and external) and provide an enabling environment to all sectors that provide aid to trade (transport, banking, insurance, warehousing, advertising, communication). Trade will fuel economic growth, support good jobs, raise living standards and help the good people of Benue provide for their families with affordable goods and services”.

The young and vibrant candidate said E-commerce technology will play a very important role for Benue trading partners and give consumers greater purchasing power and allow them to buy a wider variety of goods at lower prices. “We will establish hundreds of assistance programs to businesses and entrepreneurs in the form grants, advice, training, and management counseling” he added.
