The apprehended vehicle, laden with an excessive number of mattresses, was visibly bent to one side due to the unsafe load, posing a serious risk to both the driver and other road users.

The Sector Commander, Corps Commander Kehinde G. Hamzat, reiterated the Corps’ zero tolerance for overloading of passengers or goods, stressing that such practices compromise vehicle stability, and significantly heighten the risk of road crashes.

The FRSC Lagos Sector Command urges all motorists and transport operators to adhere to manufacturer load specifications and prioritize safety over profit.
