The Governor of Lagos State Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has commissioned the Epe Safety and Security Hub for the use of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, and Agencies concerned with the Safety and Security of Lagos.
At a brief ceremony, the Governor said the safety and security of Lagosians is a priority in his THEMES Agenda for Lagos State and his Government will leave nothing to chance in his bid to attaining the vision of a safer Lagos..
After inspecting a Guard of honour mounted by Officers of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Corps and a short display of the readiness of it’s Crowd control squad bearing the Body Worn Camera and Shield, Mr. Sanwo-Olu commended the Management and Officers of the Corps, saying they are getting on and can only improve to reach the expected standards.
He also maintained that the welfare of Officers and men of the Corp is a top priority for his Administration and that his Government will continue to make their work environment better for them to deliver the desired results at optimum level.
The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, Prince Dr.Ifalade Oyekan expressed delight at the Commissioning of the Hub for the use of the Safety and Security Agencies in the Division.
Ifalade also admonished the Officers of the Division to reciprocate by delivering on their mandate as expressed by the Law. He reiterated the commitment of the Agency to making the whole of Lagos habitable and safe for the residents.
