The wait is over. The long awaited Local Government Election in Lagos State is here. There is frenzy everywhere. The political cycle is going to be agog for the next few months.

There will be gladiators and there will pretenders. In the end, the 20 LGs and 37 LCDAs in Lagos State will have new leadership at the executive and legislative level. The Councils will be efficiently managed or mismanaged. The masses, you and I, will bear the pains or reap the gains.

The truth is: I’ve friends and loved ones who are contesting for various posts across Lagos State. In Ifako Ijaiye, I’ve a candidate for the post of the Chairmanship. My candidate is Hon Dayo Saka Fafunmi – a tested and trusted leader.

I do this not because I’ve worked with him and still working with him. I do this not because I know him at close range and could decode his message even when it’s a mere wink. I do this not because of what I stand to gain if he becomes Chairman as only God’s knows tomorrow.

I do this because the good people of Ifako Ijaiye deserve the best. I do this because he is the right man for the job. I do this because with him at the saddle of our dear Local Government Council, Ifako Ijaiye will be good and better for it.

I DO THIS BECAUSE IFAKO IJAIYE LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL AREA WILL WITNESS AN UNPRECEDENTED LEVEL OF DEVELOPMENT with him as our Executive Chairman.

Ladies and gentlemen, watch out for my at least 30 Reasons while young and old, stakeholders and decisions makers in Ifako Ijaiye and beyond should rally round and support HON DAYO SAKA FAFUNMI as the next Executive Chairman of Ifako Ijaiye Local Government.
