Zenith Bank Plc and its Chairman, Jim Ovia has been commended for being the largest donor to advancement of security in Lagos State. This, they have continually done by their consistent donation to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) over the years.
Praising the top tier bank brand at the just-concluded Town Hall Meeting which held in Lagos, the Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Chairman of LSSTF board, Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi-Etti, and the ES/CEO of the Fund, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun shared glowing words of gratitude to the bank during their various speeches at the security meeting.

The Chairman of the LSSTF board, Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi-Etti conveying the gratitude to contributors of the Fund noted: ‘In particular, we acknowledge the celebration of Zenith Bank especially the commitment of the Chairman of Zenith Bank as the bank has not only been consistent, they are also the Fund’s biggest private sector donor’.
This is expected to spur other banks, corporates, and high networth individuals to join efforts at ensuring that the Trust Fund gets the requisite financing for it to engage in its concerted effort at ensuring safety and security in Lagos.
