LSSTF Donates  Operational Vehicle to NDLEA Airport Command

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has presented an operational vehicle to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Airport Command to enhance its operational capacity in combating drug trafficking and related crimes at the nation’s air gateways. This is as part of the Fund’s ongoing support for security and law enforcement agencies operating within Lagos State.

The vehicle was presented by the Director of Administration, LSSTF, Mr. Degbola Lewis on the behalf of the Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr Ayo Ogunsan. It was received by the Commander of Narcotics of the NDLEA Airport Command, CN Akinleye Oluwafunmilayo Peter, alongside other senior officers of the Command.

Speaking at the presentation, Mr. Lewis reiterated LSSTF’s commitment to strengthening logistics and mobility for agencies at the frontline of security and law enforcement. He noted that improved operational tools are critical to effective surveillance, rapid response, and enforcement duties.

In her remarks, CN Akinleye expressed appreciation to the LSSTF for the support, describing the donation as timely and impactful. The Commander of Narcotics noted that the vehicle would significantly enhance the Command’s operational efficiency in safeguarding airports and curbing illicit drug activities.
