NAOSNP Felicitates with Muslim Ummah on Eid-el-Fitri, Calls for Tolerance, Peaceful Co-existence

The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) has extended a hand of solidarity to the Muslim Ummah as they celebrate the 2023 eid-el-Fitri across the globe, and in Nigeria in particular.

The Association also called for a more peaceful co-existence, tolerance and brotherhood among the diverse units of the country, saying that the unity of Nigeria is more appreciated in their diversity.

The felicitations are contained in a statement signed by the Association’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Eric Elezuo, on behalf of the President, Mr Samson Oki and the entire members cut across the geo-political zones of the nation.

Mr Elezuo noted that the lessons of the just concluded Ramadan are enough to bring about a new Nigeria, where peace, unity, order and respect for one another will be the order of the day.

“This is wishing our Muslim brothers and sisters the best of celebrations as they successfully conclude a rewarding fasting period. We believe that that the lessons of tolerance, peace, order, respect for nation and individuals and many more learnt during this period of abstinence, are enough and veritable to guide the nation through the path of honour, and restore lost hopes,” the statement read.

The statement noted that even as the nation is passing through security challenges, a more tolerant approach to issues, resistance to spreading fake narratives and being guided by the rule of law, will ensure that nerves are out in check and tempers controlled for the best of results.

“The nation’s challenges are not insurmountable, and the resolve of all and sundry to do away with fake news, embrace tolerance and allow rule of law to be the guiding principles in all our affairs, will launch the nation into the Eldorado it sincerely deserves,” Elezuo hinted in the statement.

NAOSNP, an Association of credible online publishers, is a national body, saddled with the responsibility of creating a safe and secure Nigeria through publications that holds National interest and security dear and paramount.
