Chief Dr. Gbenga Giwa hails from Ogbagi Akoko in Ondo state.
He was born on 22 March1965 into the family of Chief Dr. Jacob O. Giwa.

His Early Life
He started his elementary education in 1970 and came out the best student in the leaving school certificate in the year 1977.
He entered Titcombe college Egbe in 1978 and graduated in 1983.
He proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University in 1986 and graduated in 1990 as the best student and did his NYSC In 1990/91 in Bauchi at Armoured Brigade and later secured a job with First Bank as Graduate Assistant.

Dr. Giwa was given many awards as the best staff of the year and champion award. He left First Bank and joined Skye bank at the Management Level where he headed a branch.
He later left the banking industry to start his own Financial Consultancy outfit. Out of which he has touched and empowered many Nigerian youths and women. He worked in private sector for close to 25 years at the management level.
Dr. Giwa has empowered more than 700 youths and women in Nigeria via Entrepreneurship programs.

He obtained PGD in Business Admnistration from Ahmadu Bello University in 1996 and later proceeded for his Master programme in Financial Economics from university of Abuja in 2011. He got his PhD from San Diego Western Ville University USA in public administration in 2018. He later joined politics in 2018 and contested for the president of Nigeria under PDP platform but gave in to Atiku Abubakar. He has received many Leaderships Awards and Economic Awards both locally and Internationally. He is a member of so many professional bodies. A fellow of NIM and CIBN. He is happily married with four kids and his hobbies are Tennis and reading.

Dr. Giwa has proven to be an Economic Expert and a great man of integrity and accountability, if given the CEO of Nigeria he will perform credibly well.
