The Commandant General, NSCDC, Ahmed Abubakar Audi phd, mni, has been honoured with Exemplary Leadership Award at a National Security Conference and Award Ceremony, organised by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) in Lagos state.

The award was presented to the CG Ahmed Audi phd, mni, by the former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mike Okiro (rtd) and was received by the Director, Public Relations of the NSCDC, NHQ, Abuja, DCC Olusola Odumosu, who ably represented the CG at the Conference and also received NAOSNP Image Maker of the Year Award at the same event.

The Commandant General’s paper presentation at the conference, centred on the theme ” A Nation Under Siege: Activating Technology and Local Intelligence to Solve Conundrum,” was delivered by DCC Olusola Odumosu, who explicitly drove the key points home with a kinetic hope that our nation will be safe and secure if all hands are on deck.

He gave a renewed assurance that the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) will continue to play a major role, in providing active and proactive intelligence to ensure reduction of crimes, protection of critical national assets and infrastructure, safety, security and protection of lives and property against any form of disaster at all levels, amidst other intellectual and operational strides towards the peaceful co-existence of our dear nation.

NSCDC Lagos State Command PRO, ASC I Abolurin Oluwaseun also bagged the Most Outstanding Public Relations Officer of the Year Award.
