In tandem with NSCDC statutory mandate, the Rivers State NSCDC Commandant, Commandant Abu Abdu Tambuwal has approved a 4-day training for PGC supervisors of Grafton Security Limited.

In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the State Command Spokesperson, DSC Olufemi Ayodele stated that, “In tandem with the Statutory Mandate of the NSCDC saddled with the responsibility of Training, Monitoring, Supervision and Issuing of Licence to Private Guard Companies in Nigeria; the Rivers State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, COMMANDANT ABU ABDU TAMBUWAL approved a 4-day training for PGC SUPERVISORS OF GRAFTON SECURITY LIMITED IN PORT HARCOURT.”

According to Ayodele, “Delivering lectures at the Train the Trainers Basic Course, the HEAD OF PGC DEPARTMENT; DCC CLAIRE OKPO acquainted the participants with the Role of Security Guards, extant laws, Guard duties, Surveillance and Intelligence gathering, Security Communications, Beat Management, Public Relations in security, First aids, Code of conduct, Access control system, Report writing techniques amongst others.”
