LSSTF CEO, Ogunsan Visits NAF Commanders, Seeks Partnership on 24/7 Drone Surveillance of Lagos

The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, has paid a courtesy visit to the Air Officer Commanding (AOC), AVM Abubakar Abdul Suleh, and the Commander, 651 Base Services Group, Air Commodore Mohammed Asuekome Imam, at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Ikeja, Lagos. He was accompanied by the Director of Administration, Mr. Degbola Lewis.

The visit centred on strengthening collaboration between LSSTF and the Nigerian Air Force toward achieving 24-hour drone surveillance across Lagos.

Dr. Ogunsan emphasized the need to adopt modern aerial technologies to improve real-time security monitoring and enhance rapid response capabilities. Both the AOC and the 651 BSG Commander reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force’s readiness to support Lagos State’s evolving security architecture.

The meeting marks a significant step toward deploying continuous drone-powered surveillance aimed at safeguarding communities and critical infrastructure in Lagos.

It would be recalled that the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu had earlier received the Chief of Air Staff, AVM Sunday Aneke, last week at Lagos House, Marina where they discussed the firm commitment of Lagos State to safety and security as well as the continued collaboration of the Nigerian Air Force in the interest of Lagosians.
