Ahead of Saturday, May 29, 2021, All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for Councillorship and Chairmanship aspirants in Lagos State, Imota Local Council Development Area, Deputy Council Leader, Ishola Tope Adesina, was shot dead by unknown gunmen, Worldtopnewsng report.

The horrible incident happened at his street in Imota Thursday night.

Adesina’s death was confirmed in a short WhatsApp message sent to Worldtopnewsng on Saturday by the spokesperson of Lagos State Councillors Forum, Olasunkanmi Afeez Adekola.

Until his death, Adesina was a loyal party member and was seeking his re-election under APC.
