The Executive Secretary/CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, has congratulated children across Lagos State and Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebration, describing them as the “hope, strength, and future of the nation.”
Dr. Ogunsan, in a press statement released on Wednesday, May 27, urged parents, guardians, educators, and leaders to remain committed to nurturing children in an environment that promotes safety, quality education, moral values, and equal opportunities.
He noted that “every child deserves to grow in a peaceful and secure society where their dreams and talents can flourish without fear or limitation.”
The LSSTF CEO also stressed the importance of collective responsibility in protecting children from social vices, abuse, violence, and insecurity, adding that sustainable development can only be achieved when the younger generation is properly guided and empowered.
He wished all children a joyful and memorable celebration while encouraging them to remain focused, disciplined, and hopeful for a brighter future.
