The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has congratulated children across Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebration, describing them as the “bright stars of our nation.”
In a brief press statement made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP stated that, “Today, the Nigeria Police Force celebrates the innocence, dreams, courage, and limitless potential of every Nigerian child. May your laughter remain loud, your future remain bright, and your dreams know no boundaries.”
According to the statement, “We remain committed to building a safer, kinder, and more secure Nigeria where every child can learn, grow, and thrive with confidence.”
“Every child matters. Every dream counts. Every future deserves protection.”
