Police Debunk Rumours of Kidnappers’ Hideout in Abuja

The FCT Police Command has said that there are no kidnappers hideout in Abuja.

The Command made this disclosure in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, DSP Josephimne Adeh, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, and made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP). The statement was titled NO KIDNAPPERS HIDE OUT WITHIN THE FCT.

Adeh noted that the FCT Police conducted a raid on untended bushes and abandoned structures within the city and suburbs, adding that after the thorough exercise, it was discovered that were no hideouts for kidnappers in the FCT.

The Command also promised residents that they will ‘witness heavy visibility policing and an in-out sweep of the Territory’ while promising to keep residents abreast of situations as the policing job progresses. The Command also urged the residents to exercise restraints, remain calm and furnish the Police with useful information at their disposal.
